Miles of trails winding through dramatic mountain vistas are within walking distance from the property for hiking and mountain biking. The 'Top of the Cove' trails are known as some of the best in California and are pet friendly.
 
Old Town La Quinta is a short drive from this property and is a favorite of locals for its beauty, art fairs, shopping and dining.

While La Quinta Cove is surrounded by some of the valley’s most exclusive and luxurious private country club communities, the protected Cove affords the finest of Santa Rosa Mountain views, natural beauty and pristine air quality. La Quinta’s dark sky ordinance ensures that starry nights will always shine brightly for all.


The Cove offers quick access to recreational areas, including several city parks, rugged mountain trails, the Fred Wolff Bear Creek Nature Preserve, Indian Wells Tennis Garden and the valley's 3 major music festivals held in April.

Utilities

Rather than charging a daily utility fee like all other properties with pools and spas, we give all our guests a utility allowance.
 
A utility allowance is the amount that we pay for the utilities that are used during a reservation, any remaining amount for the reservation is billed to the guest.  
 
The utility allowance amount is dependent upon the duration of a reservation.
For an example, a weekly reservation will receive a 100.00 utility allowance and a monthly reservation will receive a 300.00 utility allowance. 
We calculate the utilities by reading the meters just before a check in and right after a check out. We have encourage guests to be mindful of the utilities by tuning off the spa before going on a daily outing and have suggestions on how to keep their utility fee from increasing. 
 
We feel that this is the fairest way to charge this fee, guests should not have to pay for average use or the abuse of other guests.

Reservations

Payments can be made on line with MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Discover.
You can also make payments by sending a certified check for any reservation. 
 
A 50% deposit plus the 80.00 property protection plan is required upon booking.
 
Remaining balance is due 30 days before the check in date. 
 
Final instructions will be sent by email 10 days before the check in date.
These instructions will have all the information needed to access the property. 
 
 

Cancellations

Cancellation Policy: A 60 day cancellation notice is required for full refund. 
 
If notice is not given 60 days in advance of the arrival date, all monies paid will become a cancellation fee unless the dates can be sold to another guest.
 
If the cancelled dates are sold, the refund will equal the amount of days re-sold and will not accede the amount originally paid.  
 
Please Note: If you have made your reservation through an online site such as HomeAway or VRBO and are cancelling after the 60 day required notice, these sites will not refund the service fee that they have charged you to make the reservation.
