Situated on an 8000 sq. foot lot, 'The Sweet Spot' has plenty of outdoor space for entertaining. Park-like views of the Santa Rosa mountains, mature palm trees and manicured greens can be seen throughout the home and south facing backyard.

 

The master bedroom and living room have access to the pool and backyard with granite outdoor dining set and propane BBQ. The pool has a high privacy wall with a 3 foot copper spillway and a wide tanning bench where you can lay in 1 foot of water and just relax under the umbrella.

 

The clubhouse is within walking distance less than a minute away right out of the back yard gate. You can pick up your cart and start playing without having to drive anywhere.

Grocery stores, drug stores, dry cleaners, gas stations, beauty salons and restaurants are two minutes away from the house making it easy to get everything you need without driving all over town.

 

Convenient access to the entire desert, 'The Sweet Spot' is surrounded by championship golf courses as well as being 5 minutes away from the Tennis Garden, 20 minutes away from the Polo Grounds that hosts many of the valleys music festivals, 15 minutes away from downtown La Quinta and 10 minutes away from El Paseo for world class shopping and dining.

Utilities

Rather than charging a daily utility fee like all other properties with pools and spas, we give all our guests a utility allowance.
 
A utility allowance is the amount that we pay for the utilities that are used during a reservation, any remaining amount for the reservation is billed to the guest.  
 
The utility allowance amount is dependent upon the duration of a reservation.
For an example, a weekly reservation will receive a 100.00 utility allowance and a monthly reservation will receive a 300.00 utility allowance. 
We calculate the utilities by reading the meters just before a check in and right after a check out. We have encourage guests to be mindful of the utilities by tuning off the spa before going on a daily outing and have suggestions on how to keep their utility fee from increasing. 
 
We feel that this is the fairest way to charge this fee, guests should not have to pay for average use or the abuse of other guests.

Reservations

Payments can be made on line with MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Discover.
You can also make payments by sending a certified check for any reservation. 
 
A 50% deposit plus the 80.00 property protection plan is required upon booking.
 
Remaining balance is due 30 days before the check in date. 
 
Final instructions will be sent by email 10 days before the check in date.
These instructions will have all the information needed to access the property. 
 
 

Cancellations

Cancellation Policy: A 60 day cancellation notice is required for full refund. 
 
If notice is not given 60 days in advance of the arrival date, all monies paid will become a cancellation fee unless the dates can be sold to another guest.
 
If the cancelled dates are sold, the refund will equal the amount of days re-sold and will not accede the amount originally paid.  
 
Please Note: If you have made your reservation through an online site such as HomeAway or VRBO and are cancelling after the 60 day required notice, these sites will not refund the service fee that they have charged you to make the reservation.
